දුරම පාරෙන් ගෙදර යන්?
සමහර වෙලාවට හිතෙනවා මං ආසම කරන දේවල් අතෑරලා එච්චර ආස නැති දේවල් පස්සේ යනවාද කියලත්. මම සෑහෙන්න ආස දෙයක් තමයි මේ.
අද ගෙදර යනකොට හැමදාම යන පාරෙන් නැතුව ටිකක් වෙනස් දුර පාරකින් ගියේ. කැඩිච්ච පාරේ වලවල් වලින් එහාට මෙහාට පැද්දි පැද්දි, හෙනම Adventurous Ride එකක් කියන්නේ මගේ ජීවිතේ තියෙන සැනසිලිදායකම අවස්ථාවලින් එකක්.
ඉතිං ඒ එක්කම Mike Loveගේ පොඩි සින්දු කෑල්ලකුත් මතක් වෙනවා මට:
“Oh, Lord I’m on a permanent holiday
I’m going outside to play

Not for no corporate Babylon”
Sometimes I catch myself wondering if I’m abandoning the things I truly love just to chase after things I don’t even care about. Because riding—this right here—is what I truly live for.
On my way home today, I decided to skip my usual daily route and took a much longer, broken detour instead. Bouncing left and right through potholes on ruined mountain backroads… honestly, a raw adventurous ride like this is easily one of the most peaceful moments in my life.
And right as I hit the gravel curves, a line from Mike Love started echoing in my head:
“Oh, Lord I’m on a permanent holiday

I ain’t gonna slave away
