2024 ඉවරවෙද්දි ලියන හෑල්ල
හායි හායි මගෙ රත්තං යාලුවනේ!
Hornysepian එකට මොනාහරි දාන්නේ මාස හයකින් විතර.
මං දැං අවුරුදු හතරක විතර ඉඳන් Year end එකේ මේ හෑල්ල දාන්න පුරුදුවෙලා ඉන්නේ. ඒක සෑහෙන්න Satisfying සහ පස්සෙ කාලෙක ඇවිත් කියවන්න පුලුවන් නිසා.
පහුගිය අවුරුදු දෙකට සාපේක්ෂව මම සෑහෙන්න දුර ගමන් යන එක අඩුවෙලා කියලා තේරුණේ නුවරයි ගාල්ලයි Photos ඇරෙන්න මොකුත් Gallery එකේ නැති නිසා.
(Missing that time so badly as a traveler) හැබැයි සෑහෙන්න ලඟ ගමන්නම් තිබිලා තියෙනවා.
ඒ කොහොම වුණත් මතක හිටින දේවල් ගොඩක් මේ අවුරුද්ද ඇතුලත සිද්ද වුණා:
- හිච්චා කාලෙ ඉඳන් Guitar එකකට තිබ්බ ආසාව සංසිඳවා ගන්ඩ පුලුවන් උනා අවුරුද්දෙ මුල හරියෙම (Big Win).
- Events ගොඩකට යන්ඩ Chance එක හම්බුනා. (Social butterfly කෙනෙක්නං නෙවෙයි හැබැයි මම) ඒත් Shape.
- කෝපි, තේ ගැන ටිකක් ගැඹුරෙං හොයලා බලන්ඩ හැකි උනා (විසේෂයෙන් කියන්ටෝන The t-Lounge by Dilmah එකේ පට්ට varieties ගොඩක් තියෙනවා).
- ඊගාවට ගිය අවුරුද්දටත් වඩා low maintenance Friends ගොඩට සැහෙන සෙට් එකක් වැටුනා සහ Closed circle එක තවත් පොඩි උනා (Win).
- Financially නම් යටම කෙලවරේ ඉද්දි ඍණ ගණන් වලට ඇදගෙන වැටෙද්දි දැනෙන ඒ අත්දැකීමත් විඳගත්තා. (සෑහෙන්න දේවල් ඉගෙනගත්තා ඒකෙන්) දැන් දැන් ටිකක් Stable.
- Video Editing පැත්තෙන් Animation n motion graphics පැත්තට තල්ලුවෙලා ගියා නිකන්ම. මාස තුනකට මගෙ progress එක ගැන මට සෑහෙන්න සතුටුයි.
- අහ් ලඟදි දැනගත්තෙ මගෙ Voice එකත් විකුණගන්න පුලුවන් තත්වෙක තියෙනවා කියල.
- ඉස්සරට වඩා මගෙ වටේ දැන් හොඳ Support system එකක් තියෙනවා (Big Win).
මහ ලොකුවට කියන්න තරම් Achievements නැතිවුණත් ජීවිතේ මේ අවුරුද්ද තිබුණෙ නැත්තං අපරාදෙ. ඒ තරම් Adventures ගොඩකින් පිරිච්ච අවුරුද්දක්.

Haven’t posted in almost 6 months. Continuing my 4-year annual tradition of the Year End Rant.
Fewer long-distance rides this year compared to the last two—mostly short trips, Kandy and Galle photos in the gallery.
Major wins & milestones:
- Got my hands on a guitar—a childhood dream fulfilled early in the year (Big Win).
- Deep dived into coffee and tea varieties (especially at The t-Lounge by Dilmah).
- Trimmed down the social circle further into low-maintenance friendships.
- Hit absolute rock bottom financially, dropping into negative balance. Learned harsh lessons, now stabilizing.
- Transitioned from general video editing into animation & motion graphics—proud of 3 months of progress.
- Discovered my voiceover potential.
- Built a solid support system around me.
